Danschocolate.com is a simple site that allows you to use your own photography and artwork to create chocolate boxes with custom lids.
You can then sell those chocolate boxes directly from your website and make a very respectable commission.
It's extremely simple. You upload your photographs, artwork, or even logos to your danschocolate.com account. We provide you with a code snippet to put in your own website, and instantly you are in the chocolate biz with the product for sale in your site!
We ship a 1 Lb chocolate box in one of seven assortments with your image printed on the lid. The box has full color CMYK printing on the lid and an optional insert piece about you or your business laid on top, also in full color. We generally ship all orders the same day we receive them, if they come in by 4PM EST (Mon - Fri).
You get paid a commission for every box sold: $15.00 for the first box in a shipment, and $6.00 for all ensuing boxes in that shipment. It's less for the ensuing boxes because the customer is getting 25% off all of those boxes as well. We then print the lids in our chocolate factory and ship the chocolate boxes for you to the end customer. Optionally, we can include an insert on the top of the box about you or your firm.
We pay you via Paypal. You are happy. Hence we are happy.
The chocolate biz is a very expensive one to enter, with many machines needed, employees, factories, etc. We decided to democratize the chocolate industry, and let all kinds of creative folks participate.
It's a great way to make additional money on artwork you have already created, or promote your own business with your own designs, or add a cool feature to a client's web site or intranet - custom designed chocolate boxes, ready to order.
